Immediate, total abolition — no exceptions
Holland is the most densely Dutch-Reformed city in America outside the Netherlands. The Christian Reformed Church, Reformed Church in America, and Netherlands Reformed traditions all have their strongest concentrations here. Hope College (RCA-affiliated) and Western Theological Seminary anchor its intellectual life; Tulip Time festival is its annual civic showpiece.
Holland's confessional Reformed theology is unambiguous on the personhood of the preborn from conception. The abolitionist case is the logical extension — that civil law must reflect what the pulpits already teach — and Holland is one of the cities in Michigan where that argument has the deepest theological reception.

Prop 3 vote · Ottawa County · 2022
A majority of Ottawa County voters rejected Proposal 22-3 — the Reproductive Freedom for All amendment. Statewide it passed 56.7% to 43.3%, but Ottawa County did not go along. That local majority is the moral and political foundation for the equal-protection legislation abolitionists ask your representatives to sponsor.
