Caro is one of the few MI cities with named churches on the national abolitionist / postmillennial-network directory. That confessional presence is the foundation for the abolitionist argument locally.

A majority of Tuscola County voters rejected Proposal 22-3 — the Reproductive Freedom for All amendment. Statewide it passed 56.7% to 43.3%, but Tuscola County did not go along.
