The city is majority-white, working-class, and has a strong Reformed / Christian Reformed presence alongside a substantial Black Baptist community.
Muskegon's church network — CRC, RCA, Baptist, and Catholic — is uniformly against abortion. What's missing is the political coalition that translates that pulpit consensus into civic law. Abolition is the framework that translation requires.
