Immediate, total abolition — no exceptions
Howell is the seat of Livingston County — a fast-growing exurb between Ann Arbor and Lansing, home of the Howell Melon Festival and one of the most politically Republican counties in Lower Michigan.
The Catholic and Baptist churches in Howell hold the historic pro-life teaching, and Livingston County's political culture is receptive to the abolitionist argument. The gap between what pulpits teach and what state law protects is smaller here than in most of Michigan.
We are not currently aware of an abortion facility operating inside Howell city limits.

Prop 3 vote · Livingston County · 2022
A majority of Livingston County voters rejected Proposal 22-3 — the Reproductive Freedom for All amendment. Statewide it passed 56.7% to 43.3%, but Livingston County did not go along. That local majority is the moral and political foundation for the equal-protection legislation abolitionists ask your representatives to sponsor.
